Cairns

Stayed in a free camp (Gorden vale) just outside of Cairns for 3 nights. Getting prepped for our tour to the tip! We did a day visit and hike at the baibinda boulders. Also did a day trip to Kuranda .

Paronella park

3 nights in the amazing Paronella park. Paronella park was built by a Spanish immigrant in the 1930's. He built it to be like a European castle in the Queensland jungle. Today it is overgrown and partially collapsing due to time and events like floods and fires. Giving it a Jurassic Park feel.

Deepwater National Park

Loved this national park camp site so much we stayed 3 nights. The camp was next to the beach. Also followed a 4x4 sand track over to 1770 for a day trip.
Glass House Mountains ‐ May 7, 2023

Stayed in a caravan park for two nights, on the Steve Irwin highway. Next to the Australian Zoo. Did a hike up Mt Ngungun with and amazing view. Also explored the glass house mountains.
